Because it is, of course, absolutely impossible to do without any of these. Women like to be prepared for every occasion.

I love the three shades of lipstick! :)) plus lip balm and gloss. Rosary, eco bag, alcohol, moleskine, black pen, pencil, pink pen, crackers and tea 😀 4-5kgs. every single day! hahaha
Haha DIBA?!? What would we do without AT LEAST 3 shades of lipstick? Heller….
ALL of the above minus maybe two.. Plus “Tide to go”, ear plugs, honey packets, foreign money (pesos and euros), tango shoes!
Olenachka! 🙂 Tide to Go is most essential!!! Considering how much messy chocolate I consume on a daily basis, i can’t believe I forgot to put that in the above cartoon… must do a follow-up continuation post.
Is your bag too small? I can’t believe you forgot these: Rosary, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, floss, hand sanitizer, wet wipes, lotion, face sunblock, baby powder, cologne, panty shield, sanitary napkin, extra undies, nail clipper/file, Metrocard.
I also have safety pins, sewing kit, double-sided/clothing tapes (to keep clothes in place), pain reliever, antacid, band-aid, pen, post-its/note pads, chocolate fix/gum/candy. water bottle, hair serum, facial spray, small bag/wristlet, bag hook, shawl/wrap, office ID/keys, ATM card, healthcard, thumb drive, flashlight/torch. And I have a mini back scratcher too 🙂 You might want to consider having a pepper spray.
I agree with the used tissue and candy wrappers, plus those occassional flyers.
Indeed, how could i forget…must have forgotten them in my other bag. Hahaha. Wow Tita Joy! Napakacomplete naman ng bag contents! In fairness!

i forgot my abanico
Our whole lives are in our bags! I’ve read somewhere that the size of the bag is telling of how roles of women have changed throughout history. 🙂 Back in the day, our great grandmothers fashioned little clutches …as their main role was to care for the home and family…and be the occasional arm candy for the professional hubby. And so these petite purses can’t really carry much, save for lipstick? Now, however, as the super troopers and multitaskers that we are/can be, we’ve got the whole world in one over-sized but still very chic bag…and still have that vavavoom shade o’ lipstick that turns our look (and maybe a few heads) from day to night. I agree with all the comments above! Keep these saranovelas coming, hun! love them. and love you! 🙂
Excellent insight, Cel! I actually freak out every time I have to go out at night with a dainty little clutch… hahahahah I miss you, darling! Thank you!

Now that its summer in Manila, crab clips, elastic bands for a pony tail, sun glasses. I also keep a rosary, nail file, photo of my kids, paper cut shoe sizes of my kids and a retractable tape measure for clothes and furniture measurements. Bag hook, wipes and paper soap… grabe.
Bag hook! A most essential item I forgot to include in the list…
Paper-cut shoe sizes too! Oh wow, I miss the Philippines! My mom used to do this…
Medicines, wallet, kikay kit (alcohol, tissue, lipstick, mirror, oil control film, hair ties, hair pins, brush), ipad, ipod, blackberry!
omg! i forgot the oil control film… must do a continuation post! haha thanks PN!
